How much is 1 carat worth for a diamond?

I was just wondering how much its worth, i really dont care about the cut shape or colour but the usual as a person would pay for a 1 carat diamond.|||It really does depend on the quality. I've seen one carat diamonds range from $600 - $6,000, in the U.S. I'm sure there are some 1carat diamonds that cost more.|||The cut, clarity and color are very important. Are there visible inclusions? The price could be several hundred dollars to tens of thousands depending on these three things. You could get a very low quality one carat diamond for several hundred dollars.|||The colour, clarity and cut all need to be taken into account - the weight is only one of the factors that go into pricing a diamond.
