How much is 1 carat worth for a diamond?

I was just wondering how much its worth, i really dont care about the cut shape or colour but the usual as a person would pay for a 1 carat diamond.|||It really does depend on the quality. I've seen one carat diamonds range from $600 - $6,000, in the U.S. I'm sure there are some 1carat diamonds that cost more.|||The cut, clarity and color are very important. Are there visible inclusions? The price could be several hundred dollars to tens of thousands depending on these three things. You could get a very low quality one carat diamond for several hundred dollars.|||The colour, clarity and cut all need to be taken into account - the weight is only one of the factors that go into pricing a diamond. The value of a 1 carat diamond varies hugely based on the other factors.|||For a 1 carat round modern brilliant cut diamond, D colour, IF (internally flawless) clarity, well proportioned, well made, we would estimate a retail value of 拢26,000; and at that quality, you should expect to get a certificate from an internationally recognised gem laboratory.

For E colour, VVS1 clarity, the price would drop to around 拢15,500.

For F colour, VS1 clarity, expect to pay 拢11,000

For G colour, SI1 clarity, say, 拢9,000

For H colour, P1 (I1) clarity, about 拢5,000

For I colour, P2 clarity, about 拢3,000

For J colour, P3 clarity, about 拢2,000

For K colour, Spotted, perhaps 拢1,000

For L colour, Heavy Spotted, perhaps 拢500

For any colour, Rejection clarity, between about 拢100 to 拢500
